Lynne Tillman is a novelist, short story writer, and critic. Her latest book, Thrilled to Death (Soft Skull Press, 2025) is a collection of short stories selected from over four decades of her work. She is a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Kestnbaum Fellowship (University at Chicago), and was a Rea Visiting Fellow (University of Virginia). Tillman writes a bimonthly column for Frieze art magazine.
